Posted April 27, 2018.
Further to our recent appointment by Killowen Contracts for the External Fabric repairs associated with the Lanyon Building we are delighted that our services have been retained to commence the Phase 1 Refurbishment Works for the Marketing, Recruitment, Communications & Internationalisation Department for Queens University Belfast. The works comprise the significant upgrading of the existing Electrical Installation & associated Infrastructure within the Ground, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Floor areas to bring the existing facility fully in-line with the current Estates requirements. The Lanyon Building is one of N.Irelands most instantly recognisable and significant architectural landmarks and with our unrivalled experience working within the wider QUB Estate and having recently completed similar projects at other famous landmarks i.e. the Lynn Library, Belfast City Hall, Parliament Building’s & The Tropical Ravine, J.D.McGeown Ltd are well placed to deliver this project successfully within the extensive restraints of working within a Grade A listed building.
