J.D.McGeown Ltd are delighted to announce that they have been appointed by MSM Contracts Ltd to carry out the Electrical Services Installation for this significant project. The works comprise the construction of a Warehouse Storage and Distribution Centre of circa. 9,500 Sq.M with an adjoining 3 storey Office Building of circa. 500 Sq.M including extensive external Car and Lorry parking facilities. Works have already commenced on-site with an overall contract duration of 55 Weeks.
J.D.McGeown Ltd are delighted to announce that they have been re-appointed by MSM Contracts Ltd to carry out the Electrical Services Installation for this project. The works comprise the construction of an additional storey above the existing ground and first floors providing 32 new bedrooms as well as the refurbishment of 58 existing bedrooms. Having completed the original installation in 2001 as well as the Phase 1 Refurbishment works earlier this year we feel we are well placed to deliver this project for Andras House. Works have already commenced on site with a completion date of June 2019.

JD.McGeown Ltd is delighted to report that the fully floodlit, 3G synthetic turf, 80x75m sports playing fields at Malone Integrated College are almost complete and we are now about to go on site with the electrical installation of the new sports hall.
Working with Ganson (UK) Ltd on this NEC3 Option B School Enhancement Project it is anticipated that the scheme will be complete early in 2019.
JD McGeown Ltd is delighted to continue to strengthen its long-established relationship with Felix O’Hare Ltd in working on this prestigious project which involves a new multi-storey carpark developed by Belfast Harbour at a cost of £18 million.
Situated between Donegall Quay, Tomb Street and the Cross-Harbour Bridge the car park delivers leading edge parking solutions including mobile payment platforms as well as the provision of electric car charging points.
The works comprised the construction and completion of a 9 storey/18 level multi storey car park, totalling 907 spaces with extensive electrical engineering services.
Another project delivered on time and within budget by the JD McGeown team.
Works are progressing well at the RVH Non-Clinical Support Building at the RVH site in Belfast nears completion.
JD McGeown continues to work apace on this project with Felix O’Hare, the main contractor, to deliver the electrical services installation and associated infrastructure works for the new £10M Non-Clinical Support Building.
The new building will have a gross floor area of 5,937 Sqm and consist primarily of supporting functions for the day to day operation of the RVH Estate. The Works had an anticipated contract period of 64 weeks with completion gearing up for February 2019.
JD McGeown Ltd is pleased to have been involved in the development of this prestigious £14.5M flagship leisure facility for the district of Down which acts as a gateway project for the town centre of Downpatrick.
An innovative approach was employed in the design of this Centre which layered specific accommodation, together in a stacked compact scheme and reduced the Leisure Centre’s footprint while allowing the existing leisure centre to remain open during the construction phase of the project.
The new facility at Lower Market Street, Downpatrick is one of many Leisure projects which JD McGeown can now add successfully to its portfolio, working once again with a strong team of skilled engineers and designers ensured a first-class project was delivered.
